The Office of Care Coordination, on behalf of the Orange County Continuum of Care (CoC), is facilitating the CoC Board Nomination and Election process from September through December.
The Orange County CoC Board is charged with responsibilities and authorities on behalf of the General Members of the Orange County CoC. The Orange County CoC includes a governing board that represents stakeholder groups reflecting the community's priorities and the experiences of key partners, including people with lived experience.
The Orange County CoC is committed to fostering a Board that reflects our community and broadens CoC Board membership to more fully represent the range of experiences across Orange County.

CoC General Membership
The CoC Governance Charter states that a CoC Board member must be a CoC General Member, either as an agency or individual. There is still time to become a CoC General Member if you are interested in applying for the CoC Board!

If you are unsure of your CoC General Membership status, including your agency’s authorized representatives, please reference the current CoC General Membership Roster.

September/October 2026 | CoC Nominating Ad Hoc convenes to review and update sections of the CoC Governance Charter that pertain to the CoC Board composition, selection process, and qualifications. |
October 28, 2026 | CoC Board Meeting: Approve recommended revisions to the CoC Governance Charter |
November 2026 | Nomination period opens CoC Board Candidate Interest Form released Candidate Meet and Greet held virtually |
November/December 2026 | CoC General members vote for CoC Board candidates |
December 2026 | CoC Nominating Ad Hoc reviews voting results to finalize proposed slate of candidates to be ratified by the CoC Board |
December 16, 2026 | CoC Board Meeting: Ratify the slate of selected candidates |
