Project Summary
Orange County's Emergency Operations Center (EOC) serves a critical role in every phase of emergency management, from being the hub for all coordination during an incident to facilitating and directing recovery/clean-up. The County’s current EOC, built in 1988, is outdated and fails to meet the County’s complex coordination and technological needs.
The proposed project will support the design and construction of a new EOC at a more central location, near the existing Orange County Sheriff-Coroner’s Technology Center in Tustin. The new EOC will enable multiple public safety agencies across Orange County and other regions to work together more efficiently, enhancing Orange County’s disaster preparedness and prompt emergency response.
